Hi, we are currently having exactly this problem. Uninstalling/reinstalling did not help. Rather strangely, when users choose to enable "initialize and script activeX controls *not* marked as safe" in their IE Security Settings, all is well. This does not seem to be necessary on other client, though. Any ideas, someone?

well the uninstall/reinstall should fix that. just note that they have to have administrative privileges when they do it.

a good description of the problem can be found here:

    Hi,
this describes our problem very well. But we have IE6 on W2K3 with February patches, not IE7. If we add ?detectflash=no to any URL which has the problem, the flash content is loaded. We are already through the uninstall/reinstall blues, and to no avail.

the same thing may happen with ie6 - usually if it works in most, but not all, then there's a good chance that the ones that don't work have a bad flash player install.

just have them run the uninstaller and reinstall it.
