IE5/5.5 Background Image not displaying

    I have a 2 column CSS layout using the faux columns method with a repeating background on the page container. There's a flash header implemented using SWFObject, and when the flash is displayed, the image background is not. The page container (with an id of #wrapper) is the only background image affected. Can anyone shine some light on this?

    is the swf transparent? or do you mean a background image next to + behind the swf?

    you might need to post an example for us to look at
