    I've come across a weird IE problem - embedding a second swf using SWFO dectivates all the links on a page, so you can't click on anything to navigate away. Anyone come across this before? It might be something to do with the swf itself, but I've no idea what, there's nothing special about it (embedded .flv and player) - it works fine in FF, but IE has a problem with it. Anyone?

    can you post an example link? many people have used swfobject for multiple swfs on a single page, so most likely it's something specific to your page.

    Exactly the same problem (I think), and I'm tearing my hair out trying to fix it:
    it happens when you try to click away, when the video starts playing

    @tristanm81

    You are using a REALLY old version of flashobject - 1.2.3 circa 2005.

    There was a bunch of streaming audio/video bugs which were fixed along the way. Please upgrade to 2.0, as 1.x is now considered outdated.

    Cheers,
