    Hello all,
I see this is a very NEW forum. Can anyone tell me why the express install needs the flash movie to be at least 214 x 137px ?

I get the JS error window saying "There was an error downloading the Flash Player update. Please try again later, or visit macromedia.com to download the latest version of the Flash plugin."

Is this because my flash movie does not meet the minimum size needed?

    Here is my movie,

Is there anyway I could get around this?

    Thanks,
    Warren :)

It needs to be that size because that is the size of the dialog box that pops up when you start the install.

so if your movie is smaller than that, expressinstall will automatically fail.

Is there a way to modify the dialog box. This might have been nice and dandy in 2005. But with so many Flash apps being widgets. Such a size is a common cause for failure.

the dialog size is part of Flash Player, and is controlled/maintained by Adobe. it isn't a part of swfobject
