I have been using the SWFObject method for some time now, and its been great up to now. I am having trouble with getting the web sites to display the flash. I am getting the message that suggests that 1)JavaScript is disabled or 2) Flash is not installed, which is:
"You need to upgrade your Flash Player This is replaced by the Flash content. Place your alternate content here and users without the Flash plugin or with Javascript turned off will see this. Content here allows you to leave out noscript tags. Include a link to bypass the detection if you wish."
Now I know that JavaScript is enabled and Flash is installed as I've taken all procedures to make sure that they are installed / turned on etc.
The only thing I can think is that my ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite is blocking something. It can't be JavaScript or Flash, as other flash sites work fine using the AC_RunActiveContent.js method......which shows that JavaScript & Flash are both working, and are being allowed to work fine.
Has anyone else come across this issue with Firewall software? Can anyone think of anything that I need to enable or allow in my Firewall software?
The weird thing is that my sister has the same setup on her laptop, IE7 & ZoneAlarm Security Suite.....and the sites using SWFObject work fine! It has to be a setting somewhere thats corrupt / turned off?!?
