Three years ago I moved from Tucson, AZ to the big city of New York. And now, in about two weeks I’ll be leaving the east coast for San Francisco.
I’m very happy to announce that I recently accepted a job working at Google (specifically on YouTube). We’re moving out on May 1st, and don’t know too many people out there, so if you’re in the area and want to get some beers, let me know!
New York is a fantastic city, and I’m a a bit sad to leave it (and Schematic), but at the same time am at least equally excited about the new job.
The next Adobe User Group meeting is coming up this Wednesday, October 4th (that’s 2 days away!).
The presentations will be about Actionscript 3 and design patterns. If you are in the area, stop by… The meetings are held at the Schematic offices near Union Square.
More info and directions here.
Schematic will be hosting the first of many Adobe User Group meetings tonight at the NYC office. If you are looking for something to do, stop on by. There will be two presentations:
- 7-8pm: Simulating Physics with Flash by Alec Cove
- 8-9pm: OOP Animation with Fuse by Roger Braunstein
The meeting will take place at 41 E. 11th st, 6th Floor at the Schematic NY office. The entrance is on 11th St. just east of University.
More information can be had on the AUG website.
If you are into nerd things, head over to the BarCamp website and register.
We just finished up our Flash Forward session. If you were watching I would love to hear feedback (just leave a comment or send me an e-mail).
Here are links to the projects we showed or talked about:
And if you couldn’t make it, Brandie posted some pictures.
